The Western Assoc held a very memorable reunion in Penticton BC 28-30 Sept. There were a few new faces and of course all the members who support all the reunions. You know who you are and let me tell you, that you are appreciated by your continious support of all events and reunions. Penticton had a wonderful reunion in a very nice facility that served great food Friday, and Saturday evening.

We were honored to have General Harry Brodie and his wife Jane as guests and of course the general did a fine job of being our guest speaker. It is too bad our parade was rained out but we had our service held inside and did a bit of a march past around the room after. I sure hope to see a good turnout in Medicine Hat in 2008. Watch for the notices and plan to attend. The committee in the Hat always do a bang up Job.

My wife Mavis and I would like to take this opportunity to wish one and all a very Merry Xmas and a prosperous and healthy New Year.
