CASC/RCASC UNITS AND LOCATIONSby Major W.E. Campbell; Log / Tn - late RCASC; as of 16 February 1999 |

| My aim was to take several "snapshots" in time to show the large and varied number and types of CASC/RCASC units that existed. I have not tried to list all units during all time periods as that would involve an extensive listing of unit pedigrees. I would like to acknowledge the contributions of Capt. John R. Grodzinski for access to his research on the ORBATS of the First Canadian Army in WWII and the post WWII Canadian Army and of A/SLt (Retd) David Morris for sharing his research on pre-1965 Canadian Army (Militia) units. Their path breaking work has certainly made it much easier for me. Those who are interested in detailed unit pedigrees would be well advised to contact these two gentlemen. Their e-mail addresses have appeared in the Guest List on the RCASC Home Page. This is still a "work in progress" and I am particularly anxious to learn more about RCASC units that were based in the UK during WWII. |
