A memorial to members of the Corps on a site occupied in preparation for the D-Day invasion.
This memorial lies near the town of Southsea in The New Forest in England. My thanks to Robby, to Mr Jack Clarry and his staff and to MGen [ret'd] Reg Lewis. |

The inscription reads:
"ON THIS SITE A CROSS WAS ERECTED TO THE GLORY OF GOD ON 14th APRIL 1944.
SERVICES WERE HELD HERE UNTIL D-DAY 6th JUNE 1944
BY THE MEN OF THE 3RD CANADIAN DIVISION R.C.A.S.C."
